Our Programs

When the school is closed, Verde Wildwood is open! Day camp for school closures. One day adventures.

Let’s dive into a week of nature exploration, hands-on crafts, and outdoor adventures.

Explore the wonders of the forests around Seattle, dive into hands-on nature crafts, and enjoy endless outdoor adventures all summer long!

A special free program that is designed for our littlest explorers, babies and little toddlers 0-2 who get to enjoy nature with their favorite grown-up by their side.

Perfect timing to explore the forest, create nature-based crafts, practice teamwork through games, and enjoy the magic of winter outside.

Land Acknowledgment

At Verde Wildwood Forest School, we recognize that the land we gather on, is part of the traditional territories of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish Tribe. These lands were stewarded by the Duwamish people for generations, long before settlers arrived.

We honor their deep connection to the land, waters, and resources of this region. We also acknowledge the ongoing efforts of the Duwamish people to preserve their culture, history, and sovereignty despite historical and ongoing challenges.

As stewards of this space, we are committed to fostering respect for Indigenous communities, learning from their enduring wisdom, and supporting their rights to self-determination.

We encourage everyone to explore ways to support the Duwamish Tribe, such as learning about their history, visiting the Duwamish Longhouse and Cultural Center, and contributing to initiatives like the Real Rent Duwamish program. For more information and upcoming events, visit duwamishtribe.org

“I poured all my love and care into creating Verde Wildwood Forest School. Each day, I work to create an environment where little ones are supported as they explore, learn, and connect to both nature and language. Together, we’ll create a home built on community, love, and compassion.”
